deleted my 60 minute workout this morning from my watch accidentally! the stupid thing continually accidentally starts on its own so much i thought it had just done that so i stopped it and opted to not save.
mental note for me–choose “yes” to save, every time, just incase.
note for garmin–if you notice that the timer in training mode is > 5 minutes — how about ask for a confirmation before allowing the user to nuke it.
better yet, fix the watch design so that it’s not prone to setting itself off on accident in the first place.
the love/hate relationship with this thing continues.
somehow the buttons on my forerunner always get accidentally pressed while i’m wearing it…the time will be way off sometimes, and this morning i had one heck of a workout, then realize that somewhere in the middle the stopwatch had stopped. AAAAAAAAAARRRRGHHH.
they really needed to do some (more) field testing with this thing.
Odwalla Superfood, Pomegranate Juice and Pomegranite Limeaid. Take it in small doses (half a serving). an injection of sugary sweet goodness, with good stuff to match.
Wii -- I like everything about the gadget. Gamers bugger off; i am not one. I'll kill you in Kid Icarus, Super Mario Bros. & Mario Kart, but beyond that i'm done. Moving around is dope. It's got me looking forward to playing tennis in the Spring.
Garmin Forerunner 50. I finally have this thing uploading data to both the Garmin Connect website and the personal tool. a great way to keep track of stuff, but in all honesty, their software needs way more work. The desktop has no obvious way to sync with the website (you can tell they've likely been done by two different entities), and the website sometimes simply doesn't work.
